The original BBC series of 1985 of which this is based is considered one the the most brooding intense, legendary, historic, critically acclaimed pieces of television ever written anywhere in the world.

This has Mel Gibson in it.....
In my opinion Mel gibson is a brilliant actor and director. He managed to carry edge of darkness by himself, it was a pretty good movie. Nice return to his acting career.

Worst movie I've watched recently is Adventureland. It was advertised as a comedy but I laughed about twice and even then it was more of a s******.
