I think the Phil era Genesis albums were good up until We Can't Dance. Abacab especially gets more hate than it deserves, it seems like every prog fan thinks it's heresy for a progressive rock band to actually take a different approach after putting out the same kind of music for well over a decade. Sure, they had some terrible songs, like Illegal Alien and I Can't Dance. But they also had some real gems like That's All and Land of Confusion.

I'm a massive fan of the Gabriel era Genesis, but I will admit, the Phil Collins years had some decent material.
A Trick of the Tail was pretty good, even if it was a bit of a step down from their previous album.
Duke and Genesis (Shapes) were excellent pop/rock, but after that, I really can't say much.
Invisible Touch was God-A-wful.
