I've never been to a concert that was terrible. But when I went to see Happy Mondays and Psychedelic Furs, the Islands opened for them. I had high hopes, because I actually liked Return to the Sea. Sadly, their newest album is more like a crappy, disgusting rendition of a generic 80's synthpop band. Yeah, it's that bad. What's worse, Nicholas Thorburn was absolutely shitfaced to the point that one of his bandmates had to grab him to keep him from falling of the stage. It was bad.

And when I saw Dino Jr. Lou Barlow's new band opened for them

Great all around.
