Vince Neil was said to have punched Izzy Stradlin, the then rhythm guitarist for Guns 'N Roses, backstage at the MTV music awards, because Izzy harrassed his wife in an earlier incident. Afterwards, Axl and Vince kept talking **** about each other through the press. Vince Neil had challenged Axl Rose to a fight (in a video interview that made Axl look normal) which never happened. Each singer accused the other of backing off.
