They went on stage to a lukewarm reception, and Bobby started the show by giving all Kylie's fans a resounding "fuck you." In a drugged-out rage, believing this to be some NME-fueled nonchalance, he challenged the crowd and started doing the strong arm salute. After calling them "a bunch of fucking hippies" he closed the show with a simple question:
"Do you want to hear the Stone Roses?"
"Well you should have been here 15 years ago, you fucking lazy bastards."
