Besides that, there's loads of folks saying things like, "I'm a Strat Guy" or I love my Les Paul". As far as I know they are both models of guitars as well and not BRANDS as you say.

relax hehe most of the posters who answer like that aren't posters anymore.
but i agree that they're foolish statements to make hehe.
either way, i still like talking about guitars and when i look around i see more les paul
shapes than anything else. but no gibsons haha. there's something about the shape that draws me to it, but it's still my beat to hell '94 mexican strat that feels
just right. it's what it is.
there's also something about the fender jaguar and jazzmaster shapes that does it for me too although i've never had the chance to really play one. still kicking myself in the butt for not picking up a cheap knockoff of one a few years ago.
