I know what you mean.
I used to eat meat, so it's not like I don't know what I'm missing.
I know absolutely what I'm missing, and my mother's an amazing cook, so I'm missing a LOT of good tasting meat.
But I can't help but think of what happens before the meat gets to my plate.
I never let my views get in the way of what other people do, though.
People can eat meat in front of me, they just shouldn't force me to touch or eat meat at all.
There have been times, and there will be times, where I take meat out of my dishes or pepperoni off pizza. But I have to make due.
I stopped eating fish when my mom made me gut shrimp.
And then I became a vegetarian altogether after I went to a farm with my family.
