This doesn't work, it will occupy memory in the iPod/iPhone but the file directory changes, making it impossible to navigate to using Apple's operating system.
But yes, iTunes is sh
it. foobar, WinAmp, and MediaMonkey all support iPod synchronization, I can't imagine why they wouldn't work for the iPhone.
