Yeah i'd at least give it a try. In terms of British sitcoms i'd put Spaced and Black Books right up there with or ahead of The Office. Gervais and Merchant managed to achieve alot of the things that Spaced did in a way. In terms of being slightly off beat, away from the norm somewhat, not very conventional and at times some great directon and scripts.
Alot of people dismiss The Office because Gervais is "annoying" but completely overlook other aspects of it, alongwith the fact that he is supposed to be annoying.
