Yeah, the characters, dialogue, setting and the over the top cinematography (courtesy of future Addams Family/Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfield) are all fantastic.
It's like a live action cartoon. The characters are impossible not to like, Cage is an underrated comedy actor and is hilarious in this, Goodman and Hunter are great as well. I also love the over the top bad guy played by Randall "Tex" Cobb.
There's a lot of slapstick for sure but it's all brilliantly executed. It's THE best slapstick movie ever made that isn't a Chaplin, and it also has the greatest chase scene ever.
It's probably my favorite comedy, straight up.
