Maybe it's the new cast that's been there the past few years, but the new material is starting to get stale. It's pretty obvious that the last few years lack the heavy bass & overdubbed chunky riffs that characterize Kyuss and early Queens. The overt focus on production is nagging my skull a bit too.

hit and if he doesn't get someone to fill the lineup out (remember, these are jam-based songs) there's nothing stopping this being EV II. Although Josh did mention this being an album he wanted to record live (like all Kyuss records were), maybe that'll have some substantial impact on actually being able to hearing a f
