I agree Lynyrd Skynyrd is seen as the definitive Southernfried Rock band. But all those bands are very different from each other, so I wouldn't say they are better the Lynyrd Skynyrd, just different. CCR is part of the 60's West coast scene with bands like the Doors, and the Dead. CCR was more single oriented plus they some jam psychedelic songs on their album. Allman Bros were a little more steeped into the Blues than the rest. Duane Allman is considered one of the best Blues slide guitarist comparitively to other guitarist from either Blues or Rock side of the isle. I don't know much of Little Feat, but another good southernfried jam band is The Outlaws (the Def Leppard of Southern Rock - j/k)
