apparently they were having a hard time in the studio with that track. couldn't get the chorus right, people getting tired and pissed off, etc. apparently after a blowout around 7:30 Staley took a break and everything clicked while he was getting air (and presumably getting some peanut butter on haha)

Yeah, "Nothing Song" is definitely one of those AIC tracks that you have to let go of all previous Chains expectations in order to get into it. Really ****in' whacked out. Kind of like the last track from the
Sap EP, "Love Song" (some people know it as "Bleeding Gums"). "I love you. I'm not coming back, bitch. I can't see! I can't see!"
"Frogs" actually turned into one of my favorite late AIC songs after a long time of listening to them, where as when I was a kid, it was just one of those tracks that kind of got ignored. Kind of like "Head Creeps", which is also a really awesome song.
