Nah, NZ is much easier to get into. I know HEAPS of families who have immigrated to New Zealand first then then gotten into Australia from there. Because pretty much everybody wants to go to Australia so there is much less demand in NZ and there are also skills shortages in many areas. This is what I've heard anyway. You should totally follow your dream! Come live with me! Oh and congrats on the boyfriend
To get back on topic... today my grade 3s had to come up with adjectives to describe bugs... memorable examples include the "fizzy caterpillar," the "slimy termite" and the "crispy spider."
