Not sure about Stoke being much of a significantly better team than Wigan, but in Tony Pulis they've certainly got a much more experienced manager to hold things together. Considering Bobby Martinez only hung up his boots 3 years ago, it's pretty amazing that he's managed to keep the latics in the top flight. I was watching an interview with Dave Whelan the other day though where he said how next season would be a huge test for him, and I find it hard to disagree (admittedly more out of excitement than dread though). Bobby definitely has the potential to be one of the top managers in Europe all the same - I'd even put money on that.
As for Liverpool-Chelsea, I guess all there is left to do is hope. I wouldn't write your chances of breaking the record for successive titles off even if Chelskia do pull through though.
