Fans overrating artists they love is nothing new...but you know, even as a casual listener of Patton's stuff for the most part, I can say without hesitation that he is unarguably a hell of a lot more creative than most of the bands that people vomit accolades around here about.

well, i know what you mean when you say not alot of people know him, but tbh alot of the people i know who do put him up as this second coming of music or something. i'm not saying he isn't creative or that he doesn't deserve praise for what he does, just that he isn't some kind of music messiah.
