If you do have chronic tinnitus which bothers you when it's time to sleep or other situations when it's quiet around you, send me a PM and I can send you my small library of ambient soundscapes. These are just recordings of rain, waves on beaches, sitting on the train etc. and can be used to help you ignore or help you train your brain to ignore the sound from your tinnitus .. Of course, it'll never go away as long as it's real quiet, but enriching your environment with sound can help.
I don't use them much anymore, but I did find them quite useful when it bothered me more.
