LOL Yes is listed in the math rock wiki?

Math rock is definitely influenced by progressive rock but I would not go as far (and it's really far) as to say Yes is math rock.

As for shoegaze, I associate the mopey and kind of shy or introverted sound of the music with the name more than I do effects and staring down at pedals.
