That's a bit of a statement .. I don't think any of the Ghibli movies I've seen have great villains! Grave of Fireflies, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle .. If present at all, at least they don't stay villains throughout.
Wall-E is somewhat overrated, though, I agree!
