Erica, here's the continuation as promised (I'm sure you've been waiting with bated breath! )

More of My Likes:

Bubbles that float up from a bottle of dishsoap (when you squeeze the bottle just slightly, this sometimes happens by accident. I get very excited!)
You know what I find really exciting (exciting? ha! we seem to have these little enthusiasms in common)? When the bottle of dishsoap is running on empty and you squeeze it and lots of tiny bubbles fly out.

The first hint of pale green leaves emerging from trees in spring. (You see them as a pale green haze when you overlook a deciduous tree grove.) Yes, I know what you mean about that “pale green haze,” a color akin to green olives. It’s beautiful.

The scent of linden tree flowers. Mmmm! Heavenly.
I don’t believe I’ve ever smelled linden tree flowers. I’ll have to hunt one down now and take a sniff!

Dipping graham crackers into (rice) milk (until half is so soggy that it threatens to tear off as you lift it, dangling, up to your mouth.)
I don’t like graham crackers much, although I can understand the dangling thing!

Oreo-type cookies
Don’t like Oreos but I did buy some Girl Scout cookies recently and let me tell you, those Do-Si-Dos are delicious! I pry the cookies apart and just eat the peanut butter cream.

Hail...at least the small kind. (I used to put them in the freezer as a kid.)
Hail, Erica!

Birds...parakeets, for example...and their small warm feet on my finger.
I’ve loved birds ever since I can remember. As a child I belonged to a “bird club” with friends and we would search for them in the neighborhood with field guides in hand. Except we never saw much aside from pigeons, sparrows, and the occasional robin. Some bird-watchers we were!

Rats and mice and their little sniffing noses
Hold it, there…I’m totally petrified of both! I’ve never been exposed up-close to a rat (and if I were I'd probably die of fright), but if a mouse happens to dart by I’m up on the couch, chair or whatever’s nearest in a flash!

When muscles ache after exercising (kind of a good pain)
Yes - although that good pain is becoming more of a bad pain these days!

When driving, I like stopping to let pedestrians cross at walkways (I think this may be the only opportunity in life to feel magnanimous. I always enjoy letting pedestrians cross, because they are so happy and appreciative even though it is such a simple little thing you are doing, really.) I do the same! And it's always nice when the pedestrians give you a smile and wave.

The song "Scarlet Ribbons" (I loved loved loved this song as a child, ribbons! Somehow, you made me think of this song. I don't know why. ;-) When I was a girl, the song let me imagine that there is a kindly being watching out for me...something I've never believed in, but I think you do. It was a lovely idea to think that magically a little girl might get the ribbons that she wanted, like a gift from the universe.)YouTube - Jim Reeves: Scarlet Ribbons
That is a lovely song, Erica - and I'm familiar with it, although I've never heard the Jim Reeves version. I'm glad you've been reminded ;-) of a song you loved so as a child. I love it too, and yes, I very much believe in the possibility of kindly beings watching over us.

More of My Dislikes:

Hypocrisy
Blind patriotism (blind anything is never good)
Nasty comments such as malicious sarcasm
Cigarette smoke (it makes me sad...an aunt is so addicted she can't quit despite having breast cancer; also, I don't want to get secondhand smoke) I'm so sorry about your aunt, Erica. I totally understand how strong the addiction to smoking can be, because I used to smoke prior to my first pregnancy. I have not smoked since. It was easier for me because I had a very strong motive for quitting.
When drivers speed and don't bother signalling
Watching sports (except gymnastics and ice skating)<--Eegads, I think I fit the female stereotype here! Same here! Funny, I love to ice skate but I do not enjoying watching it on t.v. I don't really like watching any sports - although I do enjoy watching tennis sometimes.
