Wasnt it like G&R was one of the first bands stepping away from the glam, long hair, & makeup bands of the 80s, they were cooler..as to say, with a new and different attitude.
They did change the trend of things concerning rock music in the day,
Rock & Roll cowboys wearing bandanas, leather, cowboy hats, snakeskin boots, more casual dress, motorcycles.
At the time, you were more hip if you rode with G&R, and their style of rock was.. different.
