Yup, I love this guy.
And it's not about being modern, it's about these corny songs referred to as "Variété Française", or the absurd genre called "chanson" that are the only ones remembered.

Jacques Higelin is also still on tour, and he just released an album entitled Coup de Foudre (2010).
