I've never been able to understand why is that (the bold part). It's my favorite Doors album precisely because of that psychedelic sound. Some really great songs are there like Love Street, Summer's Almost Gone, Yes The River Knows...and especially
Not to Touch the Earth one of the best Doors songs.
