fixed that for you. yes, it was released under the Soundgarden moniker, but really, for the most part it's his first foray into solo territory. especially considering about half the album sounds like polished versions of the kind of acoustic demos Cornell recorded for earlier material. Never the Machine Forever, and Applebite are the only real highlights.
the 6 minutes and change of Head Down obliterates the entirety of Down on the Upside, nothing on DotU matches the driving intensity in the undercurrents of that one. Overfloater does its best to rehash it though...
