there's actually quite a bit of Frank Zappa material that would fit the bill.

on the other hand, where you say it can be multiple pieces as opposed to just one long song do the pieces all have to be from the same artist? can you just make a collage of coolest bits from various tracks (similar to how a DJ does their thing). either way, i think at least a few of these would be worth consideration.
