it might not be dying but that doesn't mean it isn't stagnant as all get out.
take a good look at the list of 'new' things coming out of E3. what's actually new? at least 90% of the games are sequels or 'reboots' of old franchises. the 'new' motion controllers are 4 years late at trying to compete with the wii and well, just like the .gif above, does moving like that seem appealing to you?
at least the 3DS is something legitimately NEW.
