Stopping play to consult an instant replay every time a call was questioned would certainly slow the pace of the game right down. How would you feel about a challenge system though? Where each manager only has a set amount of challenges to use during a game. That would force people to accept that mistakes may be made, leave the responsibility on the manager to only challenge the vital calls and not waste them and probably shouldnt slow the game down as much as it could if a manager could challenge any call made at any time.
