The only influence I hear in their early stuff is maybe punk rock to tell you the truth. Other than that, they've always been 100% original AC/DC rock and roll. Unique unto themselves.

I remember reading a quote from Angus Young once where he said:

"People ask us why we don't try to 'progress' with each new album and try new things. That's stupid. Most bands who try to 'progress' end up progressing right up their a$$!"

LOL.

Early AC/DC had a blues orientated sound very much in the Led Zeppelin manner especially with the guitar riffs and vocal style. Also, you don`t get much more rock and roll than Led Zep and all the stuff that goes with it.

As for the punk influence, AC/DC were around at least a couple of years before what is known as punk reared its head in 1976 and had already established their sound. Even then the punk influence on AC/DC is not really that noticeable compared to some bands, for example Paul D`Anna era Iron Maiden has a distinctly punk sounding influence especially in the vocal delivery.
