Not necessarily, if I was thrown in with The Doors I wouldn't have liked rock music. I think you need to start with more cliché rock music. Guns N Roses and s
hit like that. That's what I did anyway. GNR, AC/DC.. and then just grew out of it and searched for something more interesting. To get into rock n roll, you need something more straight forward.
