Yeah I wouldn't recommend that. I don't do drugs myself but if I took acid, listening to depressing music would probably lead to a nasty trip.
I have nothing against musicians who use drugs for inspiration and most of my favorite musicians have at some point, hell even as something as bad cocaine, it deserves a little credit for the Berlin trilogy.
But really, drugs only work as good artistic inspiration if you're already artistic. It's not gonna turn Nickelback into The Beatles or anything.
