Idk, most people I know have no idea what ska is. They're more interested in psychobilly/K-Pop/post-punk/prog/insert random semi-obscure genre here.
I once went out with a guy who claimed to be really into ska. Of course. His favorite bands were Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake. He had no idea what I was talking about when I referred to 'the second wave', and tore me a new ******* when I mentioned Operation Ivy.
I like ska, but it's not my favorite genre. I'm more inclined to ska-punk.
