In Bruges was dark and really funny, and then it took a turn and went tragic. It has a funny dwarf in it, even towards the end it was funny. I love In Bruges, brilliant comedy-drama.
Eternal explored great ideas, that feeling of wanting to rid yourself of something, but once you do you begin to miss it. I thought it was displayed on screen wonderfully, and it had its weird moments, but I like weird.
I love a good disaster film, The Titanic was that. The only way they could do it is having a sub-story, something to show before the boat sinks. A love story is the only thing they could've really gone for, which is a shame because it makes it more chick flick than disaster movie. But I loved it as a kid, and although I don't love it now. I felt it was well acted, all be it sentimental. I can't stand sentiment in films, that's one of the reasons I really dislike Spielberg.
Oh and if you have a problem with the length of Titanic:
