Only the first 3 albums actually, but I always hear that they're the only ones that matter. Everything I say still rings true. Except when I say repetitive I mean the song structures rather than their overall sound.
Wire went through a significant evolution in just 2 years I'm not denying that. Pink Flag and 154 don't even sound like they're from the same band. Pink Flag is their catchiest and 154 is their most interesting sonically though it lacks strong melodicism. Chairs Missing is their best as it's the transition album and maries the strong points of those other two albums.
But Entertainment! is superior to them all and for the reasons that I cited.
