I will, then, hold my opinion on a song that was clearly one of the most over-played songs on FM radio, and something that sounded (before I knew more about it) sounded a little too sentimental to my ears. I understand and that's cool with me that there's a personal inspiration behind the song, as well as a good vocal performance to match it.
EDIT: I agree, the John Paul Jones solo was a great moment.
