If one were to shave their head purely because everyone tells them not to, how is that any different than not shaving it? You're still playing into it the control if you ask me.
I'm not talking like, sasquatch mega hairy here but I do actually find it a turn on when a woman doesnt shave her legs for a few days and hairy pits. bit worked up and sweaty . man thats more sweet smelling and fragrant to me than any perfume
I also dislike impractical or harmful norms that people follow just to fit in or avoid censure or because they don't think about them. I like to think about everything I do and question whether I think a norm is reasonable or not.

The fact that women *are* criticized for having short or no hair is what would make me consider shaving my head, or at least having my hair very short again (which would still give shaved-head benefits, such as needing little shampoo, etc., but would not involve the risk of skin nicks). The reason: shaving my head might make it easier for women who have short or no hair to be accepted.

However, in my case I have my hair long for mostly practical reasons, so I don't think I'll ever shave it (sorry, boo boo!): during the summer I do field work and long hair acts as a terrific natural sun shade. Thanks to my hair, I will never be a red neck (and believe me, there are plenty in Iowa).

Also, I must admit, I *do* think it is fun to see what one's hair does when it is long. Mine is actually the longest I ever have had it in my life right now...almost halfway down my back...and I confess I like seeing how the ends get curly and boingy. Hair is kinda fun to play with!

I'm wellll past the stage where leg and arm hair are stubbly because they haven't been shaved for a few days, boo boo! I'm definitely in the sasquatch realm.

Although I do sweat. And he claims he likes sweaty women. Today while working in the field in the 107 degree F heat index heat, I could feel the sweat dripping down my front and back. After returning from the field my whole shirt was drenched. Maybe Cressidagater would like that, but I am skeptical. By the time I got home to shower, I looked like a sopping drowned rat and the only smell I could smell was a sweaty sunscreen smell. Aphrodisiac? I think not.
