But honestly, saying that rapists are "sick" isn't productive and really isn't interesting either in a debate.
I'd argue that rapists aren't even entirely at fault even if it gets me in hot water. Biology deals you a set of genes of which you have no control over. I'd say that although we call them "choices" that we make during life, they aren't choices so much as a natural response to some event based on:
a.) biological makeup
and
b.) social environment that the individual grew up in and was influenced by

thats completely absurd in my opinion; actions controlled by biology? Wth man. I am the only person left on the planet who is aware of what he does? Biology may create desire. But desire is no excuse for uninhibited action.
if you ask me, what you're talking about is mental illness, and people as you've described them here should be institutonalised and taught for as long as it takes for them to reach a level of conciousness and awareness over themselves and their actions. Otherwise, they have no quality of life. They're on autopilot.

I gotta be honest the 12 year old getting raped would probably bother me more. But I wouldnt make exceptions man, hearing about rape of any sort is enough to wind me up. If it happend to someone I know I would probably go vigilante
