It doesn't sound anything like The Court or their 70s work. It has a very strong new wave and art punk influence.

Being a very diverse band with many lineups, a lot of their albums sound nothing alike. Discipline is from the 80s and features a different lineup from Court and Red.
If you couldn't get into Court or Red you probably wouldn't like Larks, I consider it a great album but it's also one of their most inaccessible albums.
Lizard is another favorite and again it's quite different from everything else.
