When I first heard this album, I was wearing headphones and thought it was kind of boring. However, I put the album in the car on a whim today, and holy crap did that make a huge difference. Now, this may only be my perception of it, but I don't think this album can be fully appreciated by just listening with your ears. You have to feel it with your body. Feel the bass, and how it mixes with the mid and the treble, creating this kind of atmosphere. That's why I didn't find it very interesting while wearing headphones, atleast I think anyway. |
The basslines on that album are soooooo f
ucking good
it's a really great album to listen to on a good pair of headphones or on a good stereo system. Some of the tracks are let down though by poor production but overall it's an incredible trip.
