Probably Rise Against, they were the first band i loved. Before that i didn't really listen to music and the small amount that i did listen to was just cos my friends said it was good. Then, i heard a song by Rise Against on youtube, i think it was on a skating video or something, and thought, this is awesome, and found more of their songs, and other bands. They are still my favourite to this day.
Although, having said that, they just happened to be the first, i would have become addicted to music anyway, no one band is responsible.
Also, Rodrigo y Gabriela made me want to discover music outside of the boundaries of rock and metal. I now listen to everything from classical to folk to punk to classic rock to death metal.
