Default saw

Great empires sinking into the mud
forgetting the tears sweat and blood
once awesome beautiful to the eye
now crumbling born to die.

If something is good then it should be kept that way
why have you left it to decay
i can't understand why you neglect it so
will all of your national treasures follow.

No one wants to work anymore
we are all tired on the shop floor
we who think do all the work
while the money is spent by our bosses who are jerks.

So we who are fired and are not replaced
in a short while things look a state
so we have big mouths and we need to be ignored
but things won't run if we are not on the shop floor.

You need us to clean up the slop
fulfil our needs with a bucket and mop
hear our screams and feel our pain
i won't ask you again.

Jobs for everyone all men on deck
this ship won't sink into the depth's
Empire's fall when they neglect the people
out of control it ends with the people
Tired of seeing there lives upside down
and the falling of great cities and smaller towns.

We all need to pull together in this time of crisis
there's no time to be arguementive
all take a hold and pull as one
or we are all finished and it will never run.

Our will to live and strive for greatness
has taken a final blow
no one looks out for one another
when one man stands no one else follows.
We are not brothers we are all strangers in this land
i don't trust you that means i won't lend you my hand.

You who speak with a foriegn tongue
i may live next door to you, but under my pillow i have a gun
i smile and i often say hello
but hoping that you go home tomorrow.

You who bleed us dry another government plan
it's not your fault we do the best we can
open the floodgates letting them all pour in
thinking about filling your pockets and not emptying the bins.

Over run and no work that pays
we are all waiting for the end of days
nothing to look forward to all has gone down river
no hope no sight no glimmer.
