I know it might be a little cliched but you can also burn incense to help cover up the smell if that's what you're concerned about.
The one thing though that you want to do is make sure you're well prepared before hand. Make sure you have your munchies before hand because believe me, nothing sucks more than getting stoned and then hungry only to realize that you need to go out to get your food.
