Appendage # 2 Warren Zevon - Excitable Boy

What makes me love this album?

To me this album is the perfect rock album. Yes it has a few slower tracks, but it feels to me, that they fit the overall feeling and point of the album. It shorter with only 9 tracks so it doesn't drag on unnecessarily. All the tracks are good, to me, theres no filler which I also love. What sticks out most to me with this album is the passion that comes through in warren's singing. Ya he may not be the best singer but he loves what he does, and it shows. I really enjoy music even more when you can feel the conviction through the speaker. My favorite track off the album is probably "Excitable Boy" I love the blending of the Piano, the Sax & the almost choir-like backing singers. The piano riff, is not really technically difficult sounding, but it fits the musical theme perfectly and its quite catchy. All in all my favorite of Warren's efforts thus far.
