And I also wouldn't have done it if I didn't have two friends along for the ride. Halo's been our (my group of friends, the rest are back at their respective universities at this point) thing all throughout high school, so it really was more about the legacy than the actual game. We get to say we did it, and we will.
Besides, I'm going to play through it again, alone. I'm also going to spend countless hours on the non-campaign side of the game.

that's fair, just seems like a big letdown to me, though i can definitely appreciate the gaming legacy, that's super cool.
as for all nighters in college, sometimes you don't have a choice and you gotta do what you gotta do to get that paper done. i once had to whip out a damn near 200 page document in about 14 hours to ensure that our 4 person group passed our year. 1 guy's contribution was two sides of a loose leaf page written in pencil, another was drunk, and another was on LSD that evening. fun.
the rage got us a perfect grade. plus then you get to say you saved the day and can guilt trip your classmates into a free night out at the very least.
