Like I said, they primarily speak in Icelandic. As in, with real words. I've read a few translated-to-English lyrics of theirs and they do add up to real stories, situations, and the like. Yes, ( ) is a void of lyricism, meant to be a personal interpretation. That's where that ends.

You might just think Icelandic/Jonsi's voice sounds like religious lunacy... I happen to think his timbre and immediately noticeable voice are an asset to the group. Just know that 80% of the time or more, they're saying real things in a real, country-wide language.
