Yeah, I agree! You may as well apply for it, there's nothing to lose...
I wouldn't mind as much if applying for teaching jobs wasn't so time consuming! For all government schools you have to answer these 5 'Key Selection Criteria' and each response has to be 1 page long with examples from your teaching demonstrating how you meet that criteria. Then a cover letter and CV. It's nuts! I've tried to go a copy and paste job but it's frustrating when each school have different selection criteria! Ahh well. Hope you have been going alright with all of your job hunting too
