Fairly self explanatory this week, funk metal is a term used to describe artists or musicians who combine elements of funk-rock with heavy metal.
Noteable artists therefore include Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fishbone, Rage Against the Machine, Primus, Clutch and Incubus. However i'm sure MB can help expand on this with their submissions!

Yes, my favourite FNM song!
I love most of those bands, especially FNM, RHCP, Rage, and Incubus. So I guess this means I like funk metal, even though I'd never really thought about it as a genre. Outside of these bands though I don't think I really know much else, so I'll be looking forward to seeing what other artists people bring up
