I think generalizing music is stupid all in all. Everyone has they’re own opinion to what genre a band falls into. What I think is punk the guy next to me is gonna think is crap and what he thinks is punk I’m gonna think is a bunch of idiots yelling about stuff they think is rebellious. But since you’re asking for people’s opinions ill voice mine.

Punk started out as something that the normal person didn’t want to hear, had lyrics that actually meant something, and was more of a way to express themselves than to just play music. Take Crass as an example, a band I believe started a new string of punk, they weren’t leftist liberals or crazy republicans they were themselves and didn’t say something just because they thought it was rebellious. But if you had some one listen to crass they'll think "who the f*ck are these people, they dont even know how to play music". If you don’t agree with this I love a good debate and I won’t take it offensively.

Came out kinda long sorry.
