First rap I ever listened to was Will Smiths Big Willy Style CD back in middle school.. Then I got Willenium too.
Didn't listen to rap again til college. Sophomore year I got an apartment with this kid I met freshman year. We were chillin on our balcony smokin some herb and he put Nas's Illmatic CD on. I was blown away, I'd never heard rap like that before. So I just started jamming to a bunch of old rap music like Wu and Biggie and a ton of other non-radio MCs.
