But that style of hip hop isn't even old school; referring to something that's "old school" refers to early forms. The 90's wasn't early for hip hop--it was hip hop at its best, but there's a completely distinct style that came before the 90's. That's old school, 90's was the new school. It's not new to us anymore, but just chronologically speaking, it's not really exactly old school.
Why not argue about it? It's a music board. We can debate about terms referring to music. Resorting to "it's my opinion, leave me alone!" is retarded. Explain your opinion, support your side. I'll support mine, and we learn from each other.
