I happened to hear Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra's music while I was at a sandwich shop last week. The friendly sandwich artist told me their name, since he was the one to whom the CD belonged. He said ska is very popular in Japan, which I didn't know. He was also very pleased I knew what ska was. I guess Iowa doesn't have a lot of ska fans.

I felt their music made nice, peppy, simplistic-sounding sandwich-eating music, although the songs were very repetitive. That's probably to be predicted, since they all had the ska beat.

I like to use ska songs to inspire me to practice my trumpet.
